Do It In The Dark

Hiking

We pick you up before the sun sets and begin our trek into the Sonoran Desert. As the sun sets the desert explodes with color and depth of view, not available in full sun. The Rincon Mountains jump forward as the setting sun departs from view. Night hiking facilitates an experience seldom visited. With the help and knowledge of your experienced and trained guide, they will lead you through the myriad of trails laid before you. As the light of day turns to dark the wildlife of the desert begin to appear. Most animals of the desert, whether nocturnal by nature or not, hunt and travel at night. With this journey you too will understand why. Your guide will assist you in understanding the how's, why's and what's of the nights of The Sonoran Desert.

Guides are trained and experienced to facilitate you with a positive experience. We can and will adapt to your needs and ability. Come trek with Southwest Trekking, The Professional Guide Service.

We supply everything needed, transportation, water, snacks, beverages and an experienced, trained, knowledgeable guide.

Mountain Biking

With the advent of technical lighting system available today we can not only ride in the light of day but enjoy and experience the adventure of night mountain bike riding. We will supply you with the some of the most up to date and powerful lighting systems available. We will transport you to a journey that will not soon be forgotten. Mountain biking in the dark transforms you and your bike into a realm that is eerily exciting and rewarding. Your primal instincts of survival emerge. You learn to feel, to respond to what your bike and the ground is telling you. The light of your headlamp produces a tunnel that you continue to travel through with each revolution of your wheels. Further and further you travel into the dark void of night. Not to mention, heck, you get to extend your time you can ride your bike. Yeah, I like that.
