Rafting in Alaska
Why is it different? The best we can tell you
is that it is rafting in Alaska. Glacier fed lakes and rivers.
33 degree waters. Remote, primitive waters, flowing icebergs.
There are no roads along these rivers.
Southwest Trekking in conjunction with Alaska River Rafters are
offering many opportunities to explore some of the best rivers
in North America. Check out their website: http://www.alaskarafters.com/

Mountain Biking
Mountain biking in Alaska is, well, glorious. And, different.
You carry a whistle to let brown bears know you are coming down
the trail. You also carry bear spray, just in case. You ride down
single track trails through the Alaskan rain forest to remote
areas -- lakes, streams, rivers, glaciers, icebergs.

Hiking
This picture was taken during the summer. Snow capped mountains

without going fishing.
